• HOW TO ENTER: Sweepstakes begins at 12:01 AM (EST) Oct _1_, 2009 and ends at 11:59 PM (EST) Nov 1, 2009 ("Sweepstakes Period"). To enter the Sweepstakes during the Sweepstakes Period, visit <http://www.virginmobileusa.com/virgin-mobile-life/first-dibs> and enter your first name, last name, address, city, state, zip code, telephone, date of birth, and e-mail address. All entries become the property of Atlantic Recording Corporation, a Warner Music Group company (the "Sponsor"), the sponsor of the sweepstakes, and will not be returned.
• ELIGIBILITY: Open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia, 13 years of age or older as of Oct _1_, 2009. Employees, persons living with them, and their immediate family members (spouses, parents, siblings, children, and their respective spouses) of the Sponsor and VMU and their respective parent companies, divisions, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, and any other persons involved with this promotion, are not eligible to enter. By entering, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules including all eligibility requirements. All federal, state and local laws and regulations apply. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.
• CONDITIONS OF ENTRY: By submitting an entry, you (or if a minor, your parent or legal guardian) represent that the entry submitted (a) is your own original and exclusive work prepared for this Sweepstakes and (b) does not infringe or violate the rights of any third party including, but not limited to, copyright, trademark and rights of publicity or privacy. By participating in this Sweepstakes, entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsor, VMU, Shawn Carter p/k/a Jay Z (“Artist”) and each of their respective parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, agencies, employees, officers, directors, representatives, and advertising and promotion agencies from any and all injury, loss, death, damage, action, claim, demand or other liability that may occur from entrant's acceptance, possession, use or misuse of any prize. The winner acknowledges that the Sponsor, VMU, Artist and all other companies concerned with this Sweepstakes and their agents do not make, nor are in any manner responsible for, any warranty and/or representation, express or implied, relative to the quality, condition, fitness or merchantability of any prize. Except where prohibited by law, entry constitutes permission for the Sponsor to use each winner's name, voice, likeness, and photograph for promotional purposes without compensation. Sponsor reserves the right to modify or terminate this Sweepstakes at its sole discretion; and if terminated to select winners from among all eligible entries properly received prior to date of termination. Notice of any termination will be posted at <http://www.virginmobileusa.com/virgin-mobile-life/first-dibs> Sponsor and Artist are not responsible for any injury or damage to entrants' or any other persons' computer related to or resulting from playing or downloading any materials in the Sweepstakes. In addition, you agree that neither Sponsor nor Artist shall in any event be responsible for losses of any kind (including, without limitation, direct, incidental, consequential or punitive damages arising out of your participation in the Sweepstakes). Sponsor and Artist are not responsible for lost, interrupted, or unavailable network server or other connection, miscommunications, failed phone or computer or telephone transmissions or technical failure, jumbled, scrambled, or misdirected transmissions, or late, lost, damaged, misdirected or other error of any kind whether human, mechanical or electronic. Any attempt by any entrant to deliberately damage any web site or undermine the legitimate operations of the Sweepstakes is a violation of applicable criminal and civil laws. Should such an attempt be made, the sponsor reserves the right to seek all appropriate legal remedies, including damages, and to disqualify such entrant from the Sweepstakes. In the event that the Sweepstakes is, in the opinion of the Sponsor, compromised by virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention or other causes beyond the control of the sponsor which corrupts or impairs the administration, security, fairness, or proper play of the Sweepstakes, the sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to suspend or terminate the affected method of entry of the Sweepstakes and/or the Sweepstakes. THE NEW YORK COURTS (STATE AND FEDERAL) SHALL HAVE SOLE JURISDICTION OF ANY OF THE CONTROVERSY REGARDING THE SWEEPSTAKES, AND THE LAWS OF THE STATE OF NEW YORK SHALL GOVERN THE SWEEPSTAKES. EACH ENTRANT WAIVES ANY AND ALL OBJECTIONS TO JURISDICTION AND VENUE IN THOSE COURTS AND HEREBY SUBMITS TO THE JURISDICTION OF THOSE COURTS. By entering the Sweepstakes, you agree to be bound by Sponsor’s privacy policy (available at http://www.atlanticrecords.com/privacy) and to be contacted by Sponsor by email, telephone, or mail.
• PRIZES:  GRAND PRIZE: One (1) framed autographed poster by Jay-Z and a cd copy of Jay-Z’s album Blueprint3 (Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”) of CD and poster = $20) and ten (10) Jay-Z albums released prior to Blueprint 3 (ARV of catalog albums = $180). 1^ST RUNNER UP: One (1) copy of Jay-Z’s album Blueprint 3 ARV = $18. Limit one (1) prize per person per household.  No substitution, transfers or assignments of prizes is allowed except by sponsor who reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value in its sole discretion. Prize awarded is subject to the restrictions noted in these Official Rules (Approximate Retail Value of all prizes is $218).

• PRIZE RESTRICTIONS: Taxes on prizes and all expenses related to the acceptance and use of a prize not specified herein are the sole responsibility of winners. No assignment, transfer, or cash redemption of any prize, in whole or in part, is permitted. No prize substitution except as specified or by Sponsor due to unavailability or security or safety considerations as solely determined by Sponsor, in which case a prize of comparable or greater value will be awarded. Winner will be issued an IRS 1099 Form for the fair market value of the prize, as appropriate.
• DETERMINATION OF WINNER: Winner will be randomly selected by Sponsor. Winner will be determined on or about Nov 15, 2009 by the Sponsor, whose decisions are final and binding in all matters related to the Sweepstakes. Sponsor’s computer will be the official clock of the Sweepstakes. Odds of winning the Sweepstakes depend on the total number of eligible entries received. Winner will be notified by telephone and/or e-mail and will be required to complete, sign and return a W-9 Form and an Affidavit of Eligibility and Liability Release and (where legal) a Publicity release within 5 days of receipt. Where a prize or a prize notification letter/e-mail is returned as undeliverable, or a prospective winner does not comply with this time period, the prospective winner will be disqualified and the corresponding prize will be awarded to an alternate winner in a separate random drawing from all non-winning eligible entries. If the potential winner is not of the age of majority (a "minor") in his/her state of residence, at Sponsor's sole discretion the prize may be awarded to the parent or legal guardian of the winner, and such parent/legal guardian will be required to complete all required documentation.
• LIST OF WINNERS: For winners’ names (available after December 1, 2009 but before December 7, 2009), send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: ATTENTION: Jay-Z ‘Blueprint to Success’ Sweepstakes, Atlantic Recording Corp., 1290 Avenue of the Americas, 28^th floor, New York, NY 10104 attn: Lynn Gonzalez. GENERAL: Sponsor and Artist are not responsible for phone numbers and/or other contact information which changes before the drawing takes place. In the event of a dispute over who submitted an entry, such entry will be declared made by the authorized account holder of the telephone number, pager number or e-mail address submitted at the time of entry. An "authorized account holder" is defined as the natural person who is assigned to a telephone number, pager number or e-mail address by a telephone company, wireless service provider, Internet access provider, Internet service provider, or other organization (e.g. business, educational, government, institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning telephone numbers, pager numbers, wireless phone numbers and, e-mail addresses, for the telephone exchange associated with the submitted telephone or pager number or the domain associated with the submitted telephone, pager number or e-mail address, as applicable.
